These events are part of a programme being organised by The Border Minority Group jointly funded by County Cavan Task Force and County Monaghan Task force. These events are also receiving financial support from the Ulster-Scots Agency.

 


 

Orange Exhibition

in the Boardroom, Clones from

10-15th October 7pm-10pm nightly

An exhibition on the history and key personalities of the Orange Institution. This will include material on the service roles Orangemen have played from the Battle of the Boyne up to the two World Wars. This will be displayed by various means including poetry,artwork in banners and personal records. On the opening night there will be a Lecture/Discussion on The Loyal Orders at 8 pm Guest speakers will be David Scott, Community Education officer,G.O.L.I., Eugene Markey, Research Officer, Cavan County Musuem.
