"In the Footsteps of Heroes". From the Somme to D-Day:

 This amateur production takes the audience on a nostalgic, yet thought provoking journey through World I and World War II in the form of sketches, poetry, famous speeches, music and song. Follow in the footsteps of a young boy “Jimmy” played by Andrew Burnside, as he enlists into the 9th Battalion
of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, through his training at Finner Camp and then to the Battle of the Somme. When the Americans entered the War, they brought with them their unique style of music
which will be performed by “Nicola Moody & The Moodettes”.  Other Performers include Claire & Jackie McElhinney, David Moore, David Gibson, Derek, Ross & Shirley Hussey,Nigel Scott, Neil Moody,
The Home Guard & the 9th Battalion Corps of Drums Band.

"BATTLE OF THE BOYNE"

Join us for a tour of the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre at Oldbridge outside Drogheda on Saturday 12th June 2010.
The centre includes an audio visual show, original and replica 17th century weaponry displays, laser battlefield model, tearooms, walled gardens and a number of self guided walks around the battlesite.
