THE BORDER MINORITY GROUP
 
 

The Border Minority Group is responsible for delivery of two action plans, “Building Capacity” and
“Crossing Borders”, funded by the Monaghan Peace Partnership under the PEACE III programme.
These action plans are to be implemented over a 21 month period to October 2013. The work will
involve working closely with Protestant minority groups and other minority communities in the
geographical area of County Monaghan.
 
The BMG wishes to fill two positions to work on delivery of the action plan.
 

1 x PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

1 x CLERICAL OFFICER

Candidates should have:

·  An ability to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the rural Protestant community
   in County Monaghan.
·   A minimum of 3 years working experience of the voluntary / community sector.
·   Be able to demonstrate an understanding of peace building especially within the Protestant
   community and within a cross border context.
·   Previous experience of working with minority groups in the southern border counties.
·   Be a car owner and possess a clean driving license.
 
Salaries will be commensurate with experience.
